This month I hosted the club, as it's the LAST month for SALE A BRATION and I chose a 

man card theme...when I organized my card box, I noticed that I was running a little low on man cards and we all know those just seem to be the hardest ones to create, so I thought this would be a great challenge for the ladies (and myself for that matter)...

Easel Card

I FINALLY tackled an easel card and it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it'd be after borrowing a score grid from my neighbor. The paper is RETIRED SU! Wild Wasabi & RETIRED DSP Jersey Shore and a bit of NON RETIRED Bashful Blue for good measure. I paper pieced the center present and colored in the other two. 

Stamp sets used: Circle Circus, Well Scripted (from the Occasions Mini) & Happy Moments (Sale A Bration). 

Here you can see the micro beads a bit better...I just ran a strip of Sticky Strip along the Bashful Blue and then covered with clear Micro Beads p.180 $5.25

Littlest Pet Shop

After searching 3 different stores for Littlest Pet Shop party supplies, I decided to buy a box of Valentines, cut them up and create these for my daughters Birthday invites. I thought they turned out pretty cute. Addie had fun cutting out the scallop circles with the Big Shot, while I pieced the rest of the invite together. 

When in doubt, get CREATIVE!!

Valentines

I forgot to make these with my daughter for her preschool class, so was putting them together at 11:30 pm the night before her school Valentine party. I saved the google eyes for her to put on in the morning and she also wrote her name on the backs of each pack of Fun Dip. Thankfully she didn't mind that Mommy did the majority of the work and she LOVED them! Info for owl template HERE.

Feb Club Card

I cased this (but switched it up a bit) from Stampin' Connection, thought it was a cute and creative (and WAY SUPER EASY) way to use the Heart to Heart punch. Popping the kraft off of the Real Red jazzed it up a bit with more shadowing as well.

SALE A BRATION Whimsical Words stamp set

3-D basket weave

Found this splendid and tedious project HERE but it's soooo cute finished, I just couldn't pass this up for this months club project! and really who wouldn't LOVE to get this little basket filled with tiny little note cards to sit on their desk or next to their computer??

Using 4 Bigz Scallop Envelope pieces to make the foundation of the box and STICKY STRIP (it's a MUST with 3-D projects!) I then measured the outside of the box and came up with the following measurements to make the basket weave.

You'll need 8 strips of 7-3/4"X3/4" card stock and 2 strips of 3/4"X14" card stock (for the top weave of the box) now HOW do you get a 14" piece of card stock since the biggest you can get is a 12"??, use a 2-1/2"X3/4" piece and sticky strip it together!! :) PERFECTO

Once you get a few of the strips woven together...use your fingers ladies, ALL of them!! :) it's easier to weave the rest of the 8 strips that are the same size. Once you have this base done, run sticky strip across the bottom of the weave, turn your box over and stick the weave onto the bottom of your box. (you'll still have the 2 long strips, you haven't worked with yet) Once it's stuck, flip your box back over and bend the overhanging strips up toward the top of the box, then you can start weaving the longer strips through these...again, use your fingers. Only stick one end of the long strip (to keep it in place) to the box so you can weave it through without it popping back out again. Do the same with the 2nd long strip (you may have to cut a bit off of these 2 strips BUT don't do that until you are certain you don't need the extra length) once you have each separate long strip woven, stick the other side down with sticky strip and then adhere the (PINK) flaps down with sticky strip to cover the weave at the top. Once this is done, use your Crop-A-Dile and embellish one side of the box with some bling (or don't, it's up to you!) and work on your 3X3 cards to place inside. Isn't it SWEET???

MOPS Valentines

I threw these together for MOPS as a give-a-way, thought they all turned out pretty cute and I had fun using my new clear mount stamps & scallop trim boarder punch from the SU! Sale-A-Bration catty.

Happy Birthday

Here's the first card I whipped up with my NEW clear stamps and I'm in complete LOVE with ALL OF THEM! Sigh, who knew one could fall in love again with supplies, ha!

I used Regal Rose, Rose Red & Bermuda Bay. Well Scripted & Happy Moments Stamp sets. White heat embossed the cake onto Whisper White card stock and then used a sponge dauber to apply Regal Rose classic ink (directly from my stamp pad) onto the card stock. Next, I switched my applicator to a regular sponge and inked the edges with Rose Red classic ink, it's not as soft of a look but I liked the change in visual texture it gives the card. Easy peasy!! :)
