Back in business

I feel like I've been away from Stamping FOREVER...having a baby and making wedding invitations will do that to you, however. Here's a challenge card that's over 2 months old. I FINALLY had the time to sit down and whip it up the other day. The challenge was to make a "green" card with something "found" outside. My "something found" happens to be the little metal circle. There are a bunch of new homes going up in our neighborhood and I picked up a few of these shiny metal circles on the ground near the homes. I stamped in CRAFT chocolate chip and then embossed with clear embossing powder. In order to get the chunky glitter to stick, I wrapped each metal circle with "sticky tape" and then rolled it in the glitter, voila, BLING!! Also, my first time using smooch spritz, FUN FUN! Just make sure you have a small shoe box to spray in or you'll have smooched your entire desk...Also inked up my NEW Artistic Etchings stamp set for the first time.

Sales Tax Holiday

The state of Texas is having a sales tax holiday for school supplies up to $100.00 per item August 20 – 22. Baby Thank Yous

With our little bundle of blue coming soon...I've been going through Thank You cards like they are going out of style!!...I pieced these together using the cute little scalloped A's left over from the "baby name game" held during the baby shower.

Recently we had a bit of a water leakage problem and our neighbor Daniel came to our rescue...I whipped up this card so my hubby would have something to put his Thank you in! THANK YOU DANIEL, 10 times OVER, you ROCK!!!

Pre K Graduation

Can't believe my baby girl graduated Pre School this year. Her teacher asked that I make little brag books for her class, so we could put photos of the kids throughout the year in them, the kids LOVED looking at their very own personalized photo albums, which is always a great reward after putting time into projects like these.

I've had one Senior photography session so far this year and with the photos comes a promised brag book. After finding the tutorial I listed previously, I'm TOTALLY hooked on making these and can't seem to STOP!! :

Puppy Brag Books

One of my friends dogs had a litter of 12 of these sweet little pups. Per her request, I made up a little brag book (and took a few pics) for each puppy, so she could give them away with photos of the puppies to their new owners. Some black, some brown and boys and girls per the pink & blue...

CD covers

I've been taking photos of little Chloe for awhile now and with editing photos (in all my spare time, yeah RIGHT, lol) this is another creative project that keeps me busy. I'm not a HUGE fan of plastic cd cases and since I have a plethora of paper, I usually make these snazzy little covers instead for the cd of photos, when I deliver them to my photography clients...I think it makes them a bit more personal.
