I went with a slightly NON tradition card this month but I couldn't pass up making these ADORABLE little boxes for the ladies, they were so much fun to put together! I made two of each and let the ladies pick their favorite.

October Club Projects
Don't you just LOVE fall? The cooler temps, where we can finally again wear long sleeves! The colors, the warm and cozy feeling you get when you breathe the cooler air. Aaaaaaaa....Fall! Oh, and let's NOT forget the candy, costumes and FUN colors-Love it ALL.
TWICK OR TREAT & EAT, DRINK AND BE SCARY stamp sets
TWICK OR TREAT stamp set & HAUNTING HILL jumbo roller from the HOLIDAY MINI
just punches on this one...
A punched pumpkin & statement from the HOLIDAY BEST stamp set
The last club project this month I snagged from Becky at Inking Idaho, her tutorial was right on and I LOVE the fact that we don't have to rip the card apart to get the candy out! It's even CUTER in person... I switched the colors up a bit, cause I wanted to pull all the candy colors onto the card. Plus, that's how you make it your own!

September Club projects
Using the SU! Sizzix Scallop Circle Die, we made this adorable dress, how FUN!!
(inside of the dress card)
Using the SU! Sizzix Matchbox die, we created this 3 drawer little trinket box, which I thought would be fun if given to a friend with all the material for the game of BUNCO tucked inside.
and to go along with the drawer, we made this spicy little number using the CARD GAMES stamp set from SU!-the center card we painted a thin coat of CRYSTAL EFFECTS to get a glossy look and feel. (to speed up the drying process of crystal effects, use your HEAT TOOL)
September SWAPS
Here's my SWAP card...we had a sketch challenge and I decided to use my NEW favorite SU! set CHIC BOUTIQUE, along with this fabulous black and white DSP and to make it even MORE challenging (and I enjoy a challenge) I added paper piecing (cause I just LOVE cutting tiny things out multiple times, seriously! No joke!)
Here are the ladies SWAPS, aren't they FABULOUS?!! =)

This is the first time I've ACTUALLY used more than just the white flowers in the Pretties Kit, shocking, I know...also pulled out the NEW Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper from SU! and a rub-on of course.

FYI
Just a little FYI for let you all know that the reason you cannot order the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad or Refill right now is because SU! is working on color issues. I'll post again when it's right as rain!
Also, if you host a workshop and it totals enough to receive hostess benefits, you can not only choose from the hostess benefits in the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog BUT if you'd like a bit more variety, you may also check out the hostess benefits in the Fall-Winter 2009 Definitely Decorative Catalog and choose from those instead!
