It's all 'in the pleats' this week over at Hand Stamped Sentiments...paper pleats that is! Grab FOLD of this technique challenge, it's entirely way too much fun and link up over at the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog! (and yes, I spelled hold with an 'f' for a reason!)
I'm still plugging away, thinking ahead and getting ready for our move the end of this month, eeeeekk! Since I'm not sure how long it will take us to unpack, reorganize and get settled and we've got a wedding to attend the end of July, I decided to use this challenge to make two cards for the bride and groom. Their wedding colors are hot pink and green, so I pulled some colors from my stash and got to folding...
I followed this tutorial HERE
and the flower tutorial HERE
This challenge really was so much fun, I love the HUGE impact a few folds made on both of my cards AND another plus, they are still mailable! yipee! Don't forget to check out the cool folds the rest of the design team has pleated up especially for you!!

I love both of your pleating techniques! 2 cute cards.
Love these colors! That flower is so fun! Good luck with the upcoming weeks, you have a lot on your plate girl. I am amazed that you still have time to stamp! And I LOVE the vertical pleats, never would have thought of that.
So Pretty!!! Very pretty color combo!!! Love the paper piecing to match the paper pleating- very cute!!! Love the paper pleated flower!!!
You are too punny ;). Your circular pleating definitely takes the cake, I SO wish you were moving to NC so we could make cards together, but maybe next move, right?! Fabulous work, and my all time face color combo, pink & green. <3 Erika
Super cute creation! All of that pleating is so girly & sweet :)

What a great idea for how to create a flower with the pleating and how you used it vertically on your other card. Genius!! Great colors for a shower. Thanks for the inspiration!
Pleating a flower...umm genius! Love the cards, you're right the pleating really steps them up. Good luck with your move!--set up the stamp area first ;)
