I totally stepped out of my comfort zone on this card...I tend to veer towards bright colors (at least I think I do) but wanted to finally use some of the coveted Spice Cake DSP. I pulled up the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches and got to work with my natural and golden tones.
I used a grass EF from my stash for the piece behind the sentiment and sponged over it with Soft Suede to really show off the dimension.
SU! products used:
Stamps - Inspired by Nature
Ink - Versa Mark, Soft Suede
Paper - Soft Suede, River Rock, Spice Cake DSP
Punch - XL Oval
Ribbon - Very Vanilla Seam Binding
Other - Gold Embossing Powder

Embossing that stamp in gold right onto the designer paper creates a wonderful look! And you've tied your natural theme all together with your grass embossing folder! Simply beautiful!

I'm a brights kind of girl too, but I think you did a great job with this one! I love that flower and have no idea why I haven't bought it yet. I don't know that I've seen it embossed like this; very neat way to use it! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
